We have written a whole new blog post on Fluid Engine tutorial & updates. The second way to add moving text to Squarespace is by using the Animated Block Text and Logos feature. These will be the first few you’re likely to start using when it comes to starting the design process.Ī little update on content blocks and how these work now in 2022! Squarespace 7.1 have now updated their editor, which is called Fluid Engine, and although most content blocks have been retained, there are significant editing differences. The 4 main and basic building blocks are the Text, Spacer, Button and Image blocks. ![]() sqs-block-marquee as it’s the most specific class for the block without using a block ID. The amount and type of content may affect how a block can be resized. Click and drag from block borders and corners to resize any block. Blocks can't overlap other blocks, and the spacing between blocks is fixed. So then I have to target the block itself instead of the section, within the section ID I use the selector. Click and drag to move blocks alongside other blocks in grids of up to 12 columns. When you scroll over the map, it will automatically start zooming in or out. The only issue I face then is the actual width of the block isn’t wide enough for when I open it up on a bigger desktop. Squarespace has quite recently released their new version 7.1, but version 7.0 is still going strong for those who used it to launch their websites. If your business has a physical location, the Squarespace map block is a great way to display a Google Map on your website. Other than using them the right way, there is nothing else you need to know! The content blocks designed by Squarespace already consist of the essential coding required to build your site.

![]() You’re almost forced to counter these cheap goals with your own 1-2 passing moves, but as someone who likes to play possession-based football, it’s not a realistic tactic as you very rarely see any team in real life concede in these types of situations. You can try to go “all-out defense” by pressing down on the D-pad twice to drop your defensive lines, but even with that you’re still susceptible to conceding a goal right after kickoff. Konami was said to have fixed this, but it’s still highly prevalent and there’s really little you can do because you can’t pre-position your defense at the restart. If you’re not familiar with the kickoff glitch or personally haven’t happened to see it, then all I can say is “good for you.” Unfortunately, for those of us who play a lot of online matches, it’s something that rears its ugly head and needs to be fixed. Neither of these proposed solutions are easy fixes so it will be very telling to see if Konami can fix what wrong post-June 4. If that’s not possible, then Konami needs to just allow the original button input play out and tune the collision system while also balancing the referee logic/foul system. So what’s the solution exactly? Well, for starters, there has to be more animations added to the game in order for the game to transition from one animation to another. ![]() FIFA has the opposite issue where it’s far too easy to break out of animations, which results in unnatural looking animations and sometimes comical collisions. Instead, there is something fundamentally wrong with the way animations branch together or do not branch together causing drawn out animations. These kinds of issues, which happen regardless of what user assist level you play on, can’t be attributed solely to server lag because they’re not as prevalent offline. A slight delay when passing or shooting is somewhat understandable, but to have your players take a full touch instead of a first-time pass/flick is worrisome and can lead to negative consequences like your counterattack slowing down. As far back as I can remember, there has always been a light input delay when playing online, especially in PES which has struggled to adapt to the influx of online play by younger players. ![]() It’s not uncommon for sports games to feel and play differently online vs. Online vs Offline responsiveness: Why feels like a different, much more responsive game offline, compared to 1.1 online: /ovCpf2Ge4X Well, thankfully PES/eFootball aficionado KnightMD has been gracious enough to document a lot of what has gone wrong, starting with responsiveness: So what exactly went wrong since the June 4 update. Well, unfortunately all was not well after the update for V1.1.0 went into effect. As far back as I can remember (in the post-online days), Konami has regularly scheduled maintenance to keep servers optimized and make the overall online experience a pleasant one. If you’re familiar with Konami and the PES franchise, you’re no stranger to Konami’s routine server maintenance. ![]() We hope you continue to enjoy playing eFootball™ 2022! Having said that, the only thing that sets this console back from the other programs in this list is the fact that it doesn’t have a true NES colour palette. Still, the debugging, video capture and speed run settings are all designed for YouTubers or professional players, making it a great choice for those serious about retro gaming. Setting it up is a breeze, so it wouldn’t be hard for novice emulator users to get to grips with. I’d say right here and now that is one for the more hardcore gamer. Last but not least is FCEUX, another of the best NES emulators on the scene and one that comes with a whole host of exciting features for the player who loves customising their gaming experience. ![]() RetroArch uses the top-spot emulator Nestopia UE for its core, providing slick and seamless emulation of all the best NES games from Ducktales to Tetris.Īnd the best bit is that it comes with cool NES-themed overlays that make your screen look retrolicious! What more could a person want? 5. It’s like an emulator for the emulators, if that makes sense! Rather than concentrating on one console, these cores can be called upon for different consoles all in the same program. From the PC-Engine to the Nintendo DS, RetroArch has pretty much every console ever made tucked away inside it, and it uses ‘cores’ to emulate all the different games. Like OpenEMU, RetroArch is one of those emulators that holds a large number of different consoles in one golden-age-of-gaming hub. RetroArch is the 4th program in our list of the best NES emulators of all time, and it’s also one of the most versatile emulators on the internet. Plus there’s a nifty cheat mode option too for anyone who loves the easy life. Hook up joysticks or gamepads and play your favourite games in glorious full-screen mode. We’re also all about playing as much as possible and not doing as much work, but don’t let that get out… We’re all about playing games with as little work as possible here at Dodo Towers! It plays a large number of NES games flawlessly and is a solid choice for PC gamers everywhere.ĭon’t worry any seasoned emulator pros out there can still mess around with settings to get the best results if they wish, but it’s not necessary to enjoy all those retro NES vibes. Like Nestopia UE, VirtualNES just gets on with the job at hand and doesn’t need a lot of messing around with to work. VirtualNES takes the 3rd spot in this list of the best NES emulators of all time! Just download it and give it a try you won’t be disappointed. I could talk about how much I love OpenEMU for a long time, but that would bore you and send my word count sky high. It’s like brain surgery, but OpenEMU simplifies it and makes it easy for dimwits like me to understand. Drop ROM files in and sit back as OpenEMU puts them into alphabetical order and displays a neat little graphic of the game cover.Īnd the controller mapping screen takes all the stress out of setting up an external controller on any system. Yes, there’s a bit of frame lag now and again, but it doesn’t affect gameplay that much, and most people will pass over it without a second thought. Or as Brandon might call it, ‘living dat ROM lyf’. In other words, it’s the perfect emulator for those taking their first steps into the world of ROMs. A lot of the features are the same, and while it has plenty of options for tinkering with games, it feels less complicated. In many ways, it’s very similar to RetroArch, an emulator which you may well read about further down this list. We’re all about getting people gaming here at Retro Dodo, and Nestopia UE is one of the easiest and most accessible emulators to turn on without having to fiddle around with other settings or preferences. This lowers the tax penalty in the event of high redemption activity.ĭon’t forget to check out this article to learn about the differences between an ETF and an index mutual fund. For example, if an investor redeems shares over the allotted threshold, the remainder of the redemption values are paid in kind, usually with shares of the fund. Additionally, some funds pay out distributions in kind after a certain threshold. The most common type of in-kind distribution occurs when a company pays a dividend in stock rather than in cash. In other words, in-kind redemptions are a fundamental feature of the ETF asset class (more on that below). While this scenario describes what would happen if a fund experiences a cash crunch, exchange-traded funds are set up this way regardless of inflows. In-kind redemptions seek to address this issue by offering investors leaving the fund a payment other than cash, usually securities or other forms of property on a pro-rata basis. This is especially the case when the fund’s managers believe that honoring redemptions would endanger the investment of long-term investors who remain in the fund. When a fund is experiencing a net outflow of capital (i.e., more redemption requests than capital inflows from new investors), investments must be sold to raise money.
